82nd & Fifth is the Met's address in New York City. It is also the intersection of art and ideas. We've invited 100 curators from across the Museum to talk about 100 works of art that changed the way they see the world. Eleven Museum photographers interpret their vision: one work, one curator, two minutes at a time. 82nd & Fifth is a year-long series of 100 episodes.

"The 82nd & Fifth web series from The Metropolitan Museum of Art invites 100 curators from across the museum to talk about 100 works of art from the Met's collection that changed the way they see the world—one work, one curator, two minutes at a time and eleven museum photographers visually interpret the curators' audio commentaries. Each curator offers a close and personalized look at one artifact from the collection, an effectively simple format underscored by the site's cohesive structure and intuitive navigation. A piece of companion multimedia follows each video, which varies in format, allowing for further exploration and an element of surprise. The serial format of releasing two videos per week invites repeat visits to the site. The conversational tone of the content, along with the lush and visually engaging video production and music, makes this site appealing to a broad audience, allowing visitors an easy 'way in' to one of the world's most respected museums. The high-resolution images and rich full-screen display convey a high-caliber identity throughout the experience. 82nd & Fifth captures the essence of a valuable and extensible online experience."
