Parent-Child Workshops (Ages 3 through 6) Summer Semester (Open to Members and non-Members) Children's art programs for Members, beginning at the Family/Dual ($190) level, offer children the unique experience of learning about art and creating their own works in a studio setting or in the Museum's galleries.Non-Members have the special opportunity to participate in these classes during the summer semester. Parent-Child Workshops are designed to provide adults and children with an opportunity to discover the Museum's collection and explore the processes of art making. All gallery visits will focus on visual art concepts: line, shape, color, pattern, texture, balance, and form. Activities will include painting, collage, sculpting, building, viewing works from the Museum's collection, and listening to related stories and fables.
This session is sold out. Fee: $432 for the 12-session semester or $36 per class 10:00 a.m.11:00 a.m.

Pen and Parchment: Drawing in the Middle Ages This exhibition celebrates the unique role of drawings in the artistic production of the Middle Ages, bringing together some 60 maps, artists’ sketchbooks, and decorated manuscripts that illuminate the critical place of graphic images in the creative and intellectual life of the Middle Ages.
