1931-33, excavated by Erich Schmidt, director of the Joint Expedition to Iran; ceded to the Tehran Museum in the division of finds; acquired by the Museum in 1948, presented by the Tehran Museum in exchange for surveying equipment at the close of the Iranian Expedition of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
