Inscription: Spurious inscription (dated 1035) of Gao Keming (ca. 1000–1053)
This painting was attributed to Gao Keming, an artist in the Song Academy in the early eleventh century, by an inscription written in the style of the Song emperor Lizong (r. 1225–64) at the beginning of the scroll.
Colophons by a Mr. Mou (dates unknown) and Wu Kuan (1436–1504)
Marking: One seal of Wu Kuan (1435–1504), undated, attached to painting.
29 collectors' seals, including two of Ju Gang, Prince of Jin (1358–1398); one of Wang Shizhen (1526–1590); several each of Qing Emperors Qianlong (r. 1736–95), Jiaquing (r. 1796–1820) and Xuantong (r. 1909–11).
