Edith Greindl. Corneille de Vos, portraitiste flamand (1584–1651). Brussels, 1944, pp. 81, 148–49, erroneously records an attribution by Valentiner to Van Dyck [see MMA 89.15.37], and states that it was in the collection of the comte Cornet, Brussels, in 1871; dates it about 1625.
