Aulad now leads Rustam to the captive Kai Kavus and his contingent, all of whom have been blinded. The shah embraces Rustam, then advises him to find the White Div before he is discovered, to do him in, and to bring his blood to drip into the eyes of the Iranians to restore their sight.
