Inscription: In the upper right corner of the leaf, traces of a one-line inscription are still visible.
A label attached to the mounting of the album leaf has a seven-character inscription by Feng Ganghou (20th century) attributing the painting to the Southern Song artist, Mao I ("Song Mao Yi Zimu juan tu"). This is followed by two lines of clerical script which read: "Song court collection, collected by Han Fengxi (ca. 1600) of the Ming dynasty." Another inscription by Feng Ganghou appears mounted opposite the album leaf, along with a seven-line inscription in running script by Chen Feng (20th century) dated 1950.
Marking: Eleven collector's seals, including one of an unidentified Southern Song emperor
