A group of attendants for the royal pair are depicted on this block. Two males carrying sunshades are followed by two rows of three ladies-in-waiting with ostrich feather fans. All the courtiers carry long kerchiefs that mark their status. At the left a bowing man, with traces of another above him, probably introduces another corps of attendants.
