Votive Offerings from the Hathor ChapelThese votive objects, made of blue faience, wood, copper, and limestone, are typical of those presented to the goddess Hathor in her chapel in Hatshepsut's temple: menat necklaces, beads, scarabs, female figurines and model cows. After these offerings had served their purpose they were discarded in vast quantities in various dumps near the temple.
