Part of a shallow strainer

These fragments are part of a shallow strainer with a strap handle from the "Tell Basta Treasure," found in 1906 at the site of Tell Basta. (see 30.8.369 for a complete example). Ancient Egyptians would have used such strainers to filter out sediment from wine.
