After Sir Edwin Henry Landseer British
Engraver Robert Graves British

Not on view

A man in highland dress sits on a rock at left holding an empty glass while resting his feet on a dead stag. He is watched by a man with a whiskey barrel under his arm, while another holds a funnel and stands near distilling equipment behind. In the foreground is a young boy seen from the back and a young girl at right, who leans on a water butt with a white dog at her feet. Based on a picture exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1829.
