The Robert Wood Johnson Jr. Gallery displays installations of European and American prints, drawings, and illustrated books from the Museum's vast holdings of works on paper.
Each installation, which remains on view for thirteen weeks, consists of diverse works, ranging from drawings by Leonardo da Vinci to nineteenth-century American wallpaper and from Renaissance illustrated books to contemporary prints. These represent a small fraction of the more than 1.2 million works on paper in the Museum's collection. Visitors are welcome to make an appointment with the Study Rooms for Drawings and Prints to see works that are not on view.
