This study gallery features material from the Museum's excavations at Malqata, the palace of King Amenhotep III (ca. 1390–1353 B.C.) that was built for the celebration of his jubilees. On view are portions of brightly painted floor and wall decorations, a collection of richly painted pottery vessels, and hundreds of ink inscriptions from containers of wine, oil, and other commodities.
