This gallery, as part of the Annie Laurie Aitken Galleries, exhibits English decorative arts and portraits from the first half of the eighteenth century. The furniture includes pieces from well-known sets such as the japanned card table and side chair by Giles Grendey, a pair of velvet-covered side chairs from Houghton Hall as well as a pedestal and side chair with armorials in verre églomisé originally at Sutton Scarsdale. Among the silver is a wine cistern by Lewis Mettayer and a teakettle with matching stand by Simon Pantin. Enoch Seaman's portrait of Sir James Dashwood is shown not far from the Kirtlington Park Room (Gallery 519), which was executed for him.
