This vestibule forms the entrance to the Jack and Belle Linsky Galleries, which house the collection amassed by Jack and Belle Linsky during their lifetimes. Comprising several hundred works of art, the collection ranges from Renaissance bronzes and goldsmiths' work to porcelain from German, Russian, and Danish manufactories, and from French furniture to paintings by a variety of European masters. Four small cabinet pictures are on view. Displaying high-quality carving, the French sofa placed underneath the pictures—a so-called canapé à confidents—with single-outfacing seats at either end, is the work of Claude I Sené.
