The Jacques and Natasha Gelman Galleries (Gallery 904 through Gallery 907) feature paintings and sculptures from the Gelman collection, which the Museum received in 1998. The collection's emphasis is on the School of Paris, comprised of French and often non-French artists who lived and worked in France before and after World War I.
On view are works by Pierre Bonnard, Georges Braque, Alberto Giacometti, Fernand Léger, Henri Matisse, Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, Yves Tanguy, and others. This permanent installation offers a tour through the European Modernist movement from the turn of the twentieth century to the 1970s.
