This gallery is dedicated to a rotating display of works from the permanent collection of modern design and architecture, which consists of more than four thousand objects from 1900 to the present in all media, including wood, glass, ceramics, textiles, metals, lacquer, plastic, and paper.
The collection represents a broad range of formal expressions, including furniture, utilitarian and decorative objects, lighting, jewelry, industrial design, design drawings and architectural models, and even period rooms. There are one-of-a-kind works and mass-produced ones. Although the geographical focus of the collection is on Europe and America, the collection also includes works from Asia, Africa, and South America.
