Exhibitions:
The Lehman Collection possesses one of the foremost drawing collections in the world, selections of which are exhibited here on a rotating basis.
When Robert Lehman first acquired Old Master drawings in the 1920s, there were very few private or public collections of this medium in the United States. Over a sixty-year period, Lehman amassed a distinguished collection of 750 sheets dating from the fifteenth to the twentieth century, including drawings by such renowned draftsmen such as Leonardo da Vinci, Dürer, Rembrandt, Tiepolo, and Seurat.
