Description

In Germany the Rococo style was based on French prototypes and enriched by native Baroque traditions. This extraordinary piece is part of a set of four side chairs, two armchairs, and two settees made for the Franckenstein Pavilion in the gardens of Seehof Castle, near Bamberg.
