Housed in a separate wing of the Museum, the Robert Lehman Collection retains the character of a private collection, albeit an extraordinary one. Particularly strong in paintings and decorative arts of the Italian Renaissance, paintings by early northern masters, and Old Master drawings, the collection also contains masterpieces in a number of other categories.
