Friends of Asian Art

Friends_AsianArt

The Friends of Asian Art brings together individuals from around the world who have a serious interest in the arts of China, Japan, Korea, and South and Southeast Asia in order to support the acquisitions and activities of the Department of Asian Art and to foster a wider appreciation and understanding of Asian cultures. The Friends enjoy seven or more scholarly programs a year, including curatorial seminars, exhibition viewings, guest lectures, and close examination of artworks and techniques represented in the Asian Art collections. Acquisitions supported by Friends of Asian Art funds are presented at the Friends annual meeting and dinner.
