Founded in 1960 "to foster the growing interest of antiquarians, collectors, and students in the work of The American Wing," this group engages devotees of American art with its curator-led program of lectures, tours, and opening receptions, complemented by visits to nearby private collections. Dues support the acquisition of American paintings, sculpture, and decorative arts.
