Friends of The Costume Institute

Friends_Costume

Friends of The Costume Institute is a select group of committed supporters devoted to historical costume, contemporary fashion, and the related design arts. Our private events begin each year in October and continue through May, and include special exhibition openings, informal discussions, tours, and luncheons with a diverse array of hosts, all designed to familiarize members with The Costume Institute's renowned collection. Events often have an informal, salon-like feel with an early evening reception at the Museum or special offsite location, followed by lively question-and-answer sessions. A May event honors our spring exhibition.
