The Museum is now accepting requests for self-guided school group visits to occur through June 30, 2013. Appointments can be made no less than 2 weeks in advance. A separate form must be submitted for each visit, and we will do our best to accommodate your request(s). However, due to high volume, your visit is not confirmed until you have received a confirmation number via email from the Museum.

In order to respond to high demand, we must limit each school to no more than one group of up to 50 students per day. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis only. You will have the opportunity to describe any particular concerns about your group in the text box at the end of the form. Before submitting your request, please consult your school's administration and calendar regarding bus maintenance days, testing, school holidays, and half days.

Tourism professionals working with school groups must contact the Tourism and Group Services Division at 212-570-3711 or mettours@metmuseum.org to request appointments.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art's school tour program is made possible by the generosity of Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman.
