CLASSES FOR ADULTS
Back to online format
The Art of Learning
Expand how you look at the works of art in the Museum's permanent collection by
peering through the lens of an artist, an author, or an art historian. These small
classes for adults taught by master instructors let you see the Met in a whole new
way. Class offerings and ticket
prices vary; registration is required. Search the calendar or call 212-570-3949 for upcoming class descriptions, schedules, and ticket information.
The Observant Eye
The Observant Eye is a series of interactive seminars for recent college graduates
and
young professionals living in New York City who wish to further their knowledge
and understanding of the visual arts. Participants have the opportunity for close
study and informal discussions with distinguished educator Rika Burnham and curators in the
galleries of the Museum. This program is free with Museum admission, but each session is limited to twenty-five participants (unless otherwise noted) and registration
is required.
See the calendar
for class descriptions, schedules, and registration information, or email observanteye@metmuseum.org
for more information.
Made possible by Mr. and Mrs. Jeff C. Tarr.
