Subscription Concerts

Special ticketed concerts by leading musicians are presented at the Museum from September through June. Tickets may be purchased for individual concerts or for concert series; ticket prices vary. See Subscription Events for more information and to purchase tickets.

Free Concerts

The Department of Musical Instruments offers a series of free concerts that highlight its extensive and encyclopedic collection, sometimes in conjunction with special exhibitions, the permanent collection, or other related topics. These programs are free with Museum admission and do not require tickets or reservations. The Museum's Education Department also occasionally schedules free concerts. Search the calendar for all upcoming free concerts.

At The Cloisters

Special concerts are also occasionally held in the twelfth-century Fuentidueña Chapel at The Cloisters, the branch of The Metropolitan Museum of Art devoted to the art and architecture of medieval Europe. Search the calendar for upcoming concerts at The Cloisters.
