Unit one: July 20–29
Unit two: August 3–12
Unit three: August: 17–26
Fee: $240 for the 12–class semester or $80 per unit
During the summer semester, non-Members have the special opportunity to participate in art classes usually offered exclusively to children of Members at the Family/Dual ($200) level and above. Students enjoy the unique experience of visiting Museum galleries and exploring a variety of drawing techniques and materials while creating their own works of art. Elements of drawing to be introduced include line, shape, value, color, gesture, pattern, scale, perspective, and composition. Create landscapes, still lifes, portraits, figure drawings, and more. Individual interests, abilities, and creativity are encouraged and developed. See the calendar for more information.
