Watch the live stream: Edmund de Waal in Conversation

Presented May 7, 2014

The relationship between objects and space has always fascinated sculptor and author Edmund de Waal. One of the world's leading ceramic artists and a renowned historian of the medium, De Waal and Sheena Wagstaff, Leonard A. Lauder Chairman, Modern and Contemporary Art, explored the dialogue between art and architecture, as well as the convergence of aesthetics, science, and politics in how we view art. De Waal was recently awarded the Order of the British Empire, and is the subject of a major monograph, Edmund de Waal (April 2014) published by Phaidon.
