34th Annual Museum Mile Festival

Thousands are expected to visit the Met and neighboring museums on Fifth Avenue on Tuesday, June 12, as part of the 34th Annual Museum Mile Festival, when the area will close to traffic for one of the city's largest block parties. Visitors can enjoy numerous outdoor art activities, concerts, and performances by street entertainers between 82nd and 105th Streets.

The Met will offer free admission from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., as will El Museo del Barrio, the Museum of the City of New York, The Jewish Museum, the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, the National Academy Museum & School, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, Neue Galerie, and Goethe-Institut New York.

Selected exhibitions, galleries, and shops at the Metropolitan will be open until 9:00 p.m. Learn more about the Museum Mile Festival on its website.
