Storytime in Nolen Library

For families with children ages 18 months–7 years
Start with a book, then learn to look! After a story in the library's special corner for kids, 3- to 7-year-olds explore the galleries on a self-guided treasure hunt.

For families with children ages 3–7
Look, sketch, and listen to stories to get a head start on art. Start with Art at the Met Plus includes art-making activities.

For families with children and teens ages 5–17 who are blind or partially sighted
Explore works of art in accessible ways—detailed descriptions, touch, and other activities—that use all the senses. Create your own work of art to take home.

Discoveries Programs for Families

For visitors ages 6 and above with learning and developmental disabilities
These workshops welcome children and adults with a range of abilities and learning styles together with family and friends. All can enjoy these multisensory workshops that include tactile opportunities and art-making activities.

Membership Classes for Children

Art programs for children of Members at the Family/Dual ($200) level and above offer children the unique experience of learning about art in a studio setting or in the Museum's galleries.
