Lecture in Cycladic and Ancient Greek Art
Explore the significance of Eleutherna, one of the capital cities of ancient Crete, during the time period of the Homeric epics (ca. 1000–600 B.C.). Discover how its artifacts—made from various metals, clay, and glass—reveal connections between the city and the greater ancient world.
This lecture has been made possible by the Museum of Cycladic and Ancient Greek Art, Athens, Greece, in fondest memory of its founder Dolly Goulandris.
Assistive listening devices are available from the ushers.
