Saturdays, February 23–June 8 (no class March 16, 23, 30, May 25), 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Art programs for children of Members at the Family/Dual ($200) level and above offer students the unique experience of learning about art, either in a studio setting or in the Museum's galleries.
Students visit a different Museum gallery each class and explore a variety of drawing techniques and materials as they create works based on what they see. Elements of drawing introduced include line, shape, value, color, gesture, pattern, scale, perspective, and composition. Students create landscapes, still lifes, portraits, figure drawings, and more. Individual interests, abilities, and creativity are encouraged as students learn and draw from the Museum's collection.
This session is sold out.
[For Family/Dual Members and above]
Fee: $300 for the twelve-session semester
