Drawing in the Galleries (Ages 8–14)

Art programs for children of Members at the Family/Dual ($200) level and above offer students the unique experience of learning about art, either in a studio setting or in the Museum's galleries.

Explore a variety of drawing materials and techniques while creating your own art from observation in the Museum's galleries. Draw what you see in works of art at the Met as you build your skills. All levels are welcome.

Drawing in the Galleries classes, led by artists and Museum educators Emily Berger and Susan Cohen, are for children ages 8–14 years old only. This is a drop-off program. Classes are limited to 17 children; space is limited and pre-registration is required.

Fee: $330 for the twelve-session semester
