Membership Class for Children
Parent-Child Workshops (Ages 3–6): Session 2
Wednesdays, February 26–May 21 (no class April 23), 2:00–3:00 p.m.
Art programs for children of Members at the Family/Dual ($200) level and above offer students the unique experience of learning about art, either in a studio setting or in the Museum's galleries.
Explore your own creativity and witness your child's development during this historic class unique to the Met! Children and adults work independently to explore art materials, techniques, and age-appropriate concepts through activities including painting, collage, sculpting, and drawing, and then share their creations and experiences with each other at the end of each semester.
Parent-Child classes, led by artist and Museum Educator Electra Askitopoulos Friedman, are for children ages 3–6 years old only. One adult is required for every child. Class size is limited to 11 children; space is limited and pre-registration is required.
This session is sold out, but other sessions may still be available. See the checkout form for more information.
[For Family/Dual Members and above]
Fee: $530 for the twelve-session semester
