Pause for Pegasus: The Inspiration of Antiquity (Ages 9–12)

The timeless myths and legends of ancient Greece and Rome come alive in this unique class! Explore connections between art and literature through readings from classical authors, role play, sketching, and discussion of works of art throughout the Museum's galleries. Make creative connections that reach across space and time.

This is a drop-off program; however, interested adults are welcome to attend. Please register interested siblings separately. Classes are limited to 20 children and registration is required.

Fridays, September 15–December 15 (no classes September 22, 29, November 10, 24), 2017, 5:30–7 pm

Museum Members get early notification and can register before the general public. Members receive a 15% discount on all courses whenever they purchase a class. For Membership assistance email membership@metmuseum.org or call 212-570-3753.

Space is limited and classes fill quickly. Registration closes on September 15, 2017, 5 pm (ET), or when classes fill. Please see our Frequently Asked Questions for information regarding class refunds and other policies. The Museum reserves the right to cancel a class at any time due to insufficient enrollment. In the event that we must cancel, we will issue a refund.
