Come ready to look, learn, and create! Drop in for free, hands-on family fun to continue celebrating the opening of the 81st Street Studio, our new drop-in discovery and play space—where art and science meet! Explore the hands-on stations as you find out more about clay, metal, and wood using STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) connections and inspired by artworks in The Met collection. Jump into art-making and other activities to experiment working with these materials—and to become a Met Field Scientist!
Families with children of all ages and abilities are welcome; recommended for children ages 3–11. Materials are provided.
Free with Museum admission; admission is free for children under 12 with an adult.

Hearty Helmets
