Provocative Visions Panel Discussion

The Multicultural Audience Development Initiative and Education observed Black History Month with a special panel discussion on February 20, 2009. Chakaia Booker, Willie Cole, and Whitfield Lovell were the artists featured, speaking about their works featured in the exhibition Provocative Visions: Race and Identity—Selections from the Permanent Collection, along with Lowery Stokes Sims, curator, Museum of Arts and Design. The discussion, sponsored by The New York Times Department of Community Affairs and Aetna, was moderated by The New York Times op-ed columnist Charles M. Blow.
