Join two conservators to learn how Islamic craftsmen expanded upon metalworking expertise inherited from the ancient world. Examine the highly sophisticated and decorative metal objects that these craftsmen produced, and discover how metals change over time as well as the methods used to preserve them.

This program is presented in conjunction with the exhibition Making the Invisible Visible: Conservation and Islamic Art.
