On display are masterpieces from Mesopotamia (ancient Iraq) that include some of the world's earliest writing, Sumerian sculptures, and a remarkable group of stone reliefs. Other fascinating objects include carved ivories and magnificent silver and gold vessels from Anatolia and Iran.
