This tour introduces visitors to the artistry, function, and meaning of sculptures from the Museum's notable and extensive collection, with a special emphasis on materials and processes. Featured sculptures date from more than 5000 years ago to the present, and range from the ancient cultures of Greece, Rome, and Asia to Medieval and Renaissance Europe to Africa and the Americas.
