Discover the splendors of ancient American art from the second millennium b.c. to the sixteenth century a.d. The Metropolitan's Precolumbian art collection includes fine ceramics, jade, and works in stone and wood from the Olmec, Maya, and Aztec peoples, as well as the most comprehensive collection of gold and silver works of art from Central and South America. This tour will also introduce visitors to the gallery of Native North American Art.
