Study Day—The American Civil War and the Body

Engage in close looking at works of art in the galleries as well as discussions and short lectures in the classroom as you explore the trauma of war and its effects on the mind and body through multiple perspectives, ranging from art historical to medical.

This program is held in conjunction with the exhibitions Photography and the American Civil War and The Civil War and American Art.

Teens ages 15 through 18 are invited to get inspired by the Museum's masterpieces as they create their own.
