Go behind the scenes in Havana, Matanzas, and Varadero with Amelia Peck, Marica F. Vilcek Curator in the Department of American Decorative Arts, and Manager of the Henry R. Luce Center for the study of American Art. Attend an informal morning rehearsal of the Contemporary Dance Company of Cuba, take a curatorial tour of the National Museum of Fine Arts, and visit Colón Cemetery, final resting place of celebrated writers, musicians, and artists. Travel east to discover the Afro-Cuban heritage of Matanzas, and meet with local artists in nearby Cárdenas.
