Description from catalogue: "A gold-mounted Guilloche enamel birchwood frame, of rectangular form, designed as a blue guilloche enamel St. Andrew cross within gold rim, within the middle a circular original photograph of Tsar Nicholas II, holding the Tsarevich Alexei in his right arm, both in Naval uniform, within a gold rim, shaped as roped with four naval knots, by Faberge, unmarked, circa 1898."
