This page comes from the same album as 2005.100.409a-d. The dresses for "Ritrosetta" (a and d) and "Elvira" (b and c) reappear here but are transformed by painted additions. Changing the trimmings on a dress was an economical way of prolonging its life. The Countess, who was often short of money, must have made frequent use of this expedient.
