This traditional Indian manuscript is the oldest form of the book recorded in India. It is known from the second century A.D. The earliest example with painted illuminations dates from the eleventh century.
In the collection of Nizam of Hyderabad. Entered the collection of the Museum Rietberg Zurich in 1987.
