    Excavated 1902 at Agia Triadha, Crete.

    E. Gillieron, fils traveled to Agia Triadha to undertake the restoration of the original statuette for the Italian School of Archaeology in the summer of 1921. He made this copy for the Metropolitan Museum at the same time.

    The original is in the Herakleion Archaeological Museum, Crete.
