Trade cards from the "Actors and Actresses" First Series (N70), issued in a set of 50 cards in 1888-89 to promote W. Duke Sons & Co. brand cigarettes. This card is a rare error, or mis-printed, card identified by Jefferson Burdick. Although part of the Actors and Actresses Series 1, the back was printed with the information from Series 2.
