This animal looks like the lion and the tiger, but it has a bushy tail and flames shooting from its shoulders. The artist who designed this carpet probably saw similar animals in Persian carpets, but the animal itself originated in China. It is a mythological creature, and the flames on its body symbolize power. Its face looks ahead fiercely, and its outstretched legs show that it is running very fast.
Go back to the carpet to find another animal, flower, or tree. |
