The Department of Arms and Armor at the Metropolitan Museum takes care of more than fourteen thousand objects from Europe, North America, the Middle East, India, and much of Asia. Each of the soldiers above can be put on active duty to help you explore armor from his part of the world (just click on him). You can also use the list on the left side of the page. We recommend that you start with the knight in shining armor in Europe.
